Send Operational Emails to Opted-Out Prospects
- Operational emails (also known as transactional) can now be sent to prospects flagged as Opted-Out via Engagement Studio. Before this release, operational emails could only be sent to Opted-Out prospects via segmentation lists. This feature is a benefit for organizations that need to sendhis release, operational emails could only be sent to Opted-Out prospects via non-commercial communications, such as invoices, renewal reminders, shipping notices, etc., through journeys and for prospects who do not wish to receive business information. To take advantage of this new feature, make sure that operational emails are active in the Business Unit. An additional note, be clear that messages sent in the topics are of interest to the prospect and not commercial information.
Copy Images to Salesforce CMS Workspace
- For Growth versions of Account Engagement with Data Cloud enabled, images available in Account Engagement can be transferred to a Salesforce CMS Workspace. The transfer can be triggered individually or selected multiple images and copied at once. With this new feature, you can easily transfer images from an Account Engagement Business Unit to the CMS, ensuring that marketing and communication assets are accessible to all Salesforce users in a centrally accessible location.
View Alerts in the Account Engagement Optimizer
- Alerts can now be viewed in the Account Engagement Optimizer, in a dedicated section. The Optimizer Tool monitors the conditions and configurations of Account Engagement Business Units, allowing you to get a centralized view of the status of the Business Unit. In this new section, informational messages about the status of the Business Unit will appear, such as "Looking good", "Pay Attention", or "Action Needed". These alerts are a valuable aid to administrators in preventing problems and running operations smoothly.
Account Engagement API: New and Changed Items
- There have been general changes to the Account Engagement APIs, including the ability to create landing pages via API, export related data, and copy marketing assets, namely, the API now also supports copying Form type assets. Forms can now be moved between Business Units with Bulk Asset Copy Flow.
The Engage Extension for Gmail Chrome is being discontinued
- The Engage for Gmail extension will be discontinued in June 2024. Users can continue to send emails directly through Sales Emails & Alerts.
